Lisa’s Meta Glasses Open Four Countries Without Ray-Ban
Lisa’s $399 Meta Glasses land in South Korea and three other new markets as Meta sells frames under its own name, not Ray-Ban’s.
Meta Glasses by Lisa start at $399, and they do not carry the Ray-Ban name. Meta showed two styles at Connect on September 23, 2026.
The same day, it opened Meta Glasses in South Korea, Singapore, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates. Brazil is listed as coming soon.
Lisa’s Name Sits on Meta’s Own Frames
The product is Meta Glasses by LISA, built with EssilorLuxottica, the French eyewear group that owns Ray-Ban. The arm of the frame still reads as a Meta object. That is the split the keynote dressed as a celebrity drop.
Meta’s glasses post put two Meta Glasses styles designed with LISA next to a new Ivory colorway of Meta Glasses by Kylie Jenner, also $399. Both sit on the house line Meta launched on June 23, 2026, not on Wayfarer or Aviator.
Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) still exists, at $449, with Zena and Aviator added to Wayfarer. Oakley Meta is still in the catalog. By the end of 2026 the companies say they will offer more than 100 styles across those three names. Lisa was booked for the one that says Meta.
That choice leaks into the fandom fight already running around the drop. One BLACKPINK lane is being read as Ray-Ban’s, and Lisa’s lane as Meta’s own. The hardware does not care about the argument. The logos do.
South Korea Already Had Ray-Ban Meta
Seoul is the cleanest proof. Meta and EssilorLuxottica put Ray-Ban Meta already on sale in Korea on May 25, 2026, with listed prices from 690,000 won. The Lisa pair is not the first AI glasses in that market. It is the first time the Meta-branded line is being sold there.
Singapore is the same pattern. The Ray-Ban Meta launch in Singapore in April opened pre-orders on April 13, 2026 for Wayfarer, Skyler, and Headliner, plus Oakley Meta. Meta Glasses, the house brand, arrive five months later with Lisa on the listing.
HOW THE GLASSES REACHED THE NEW COUNTRIES
- April 13, 2026: Ray-Ban Meta opens for pre-order in Singapore.
- May 25, 2026: Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta go on sale in Korea from 690,000 won.
- June 23, 2026: Meta Glasses launch as a house brand at $299 in the United States and 16 other countries, with Kylie Jenner’s Starfire at $399.
- September 23, 2026: Meta Glasses, including the Lisa pair, go on sale in Singapore, South Korea, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates.
Thailand, Lisa’s home market, is not on that September list. Meta says Oakley Meta, Ray-Ban Meta, and Ray-Ban Meta Optics reach Thailand later in 2026, in a batch that also names Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. The K-pop face of the house brand is being sold first where the Ray-Ban line already taught shops how to demo a camera in a frame.
Two Frames, a Star, and a Charm From the L-Family
Both Lisa styles support prescription lenses and start at $399. One reworks a shape Meta already sells. The other is a new cat-eye called Capri, which also joins the wider Meta Glasses line as a non-celebrity frame, alongside a new shape called Nova.
THE TWO LISA FRAMES
| Style | Frame | Lenses | Shape |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Adventurer LISA Edition | Moonlit Sky | Blush | Rectangle |
| Meta Capri LISA Edition | Eclipse | Grey | Cat-eye |
Each pair gets a star on the temple tips and on the charging case. Meta says the charms are inspired by Lisa’s pets, which it calls her L-family, and the campaign around the drop counts 14 of them, with one surprise charm in the box. Buyers also unlock digital photocards through the glasses.
That is a collectible sitting on a camera. The box is doing the same job a blind-box toy does, except the toy is attached to a 12 MP, 3K wearable that will keep asking for software updates. Fans will hunt the charms. The glasses still have to fit, last a workday, and not look like a gadget on the subway.
What the $399 Lisa Pair Includes
Meta’s listing is specific about the unboxing, and it is where the celebrity markup lives. The sensors match the rest of the Meta Glasses line: Meta AI, open-ear audio, a camera, and a case. The extras are the reason the price matches Kylie Jenner’s Starfire rather than the $299 Adventurer that launched in June.
WHAT COMES IN THE LISA BOX
- The frames: Either the Moonlit Sky Adventurer or the Eclipse Capri, with the star on the temple tips.
- The case: A custom charging case with the same star motif.
- The charm: One surprise pet charm from the L-family set.
- The digital extra: Photocards unlocked with the glasses.
- The usual kit: A foldable case charge path, a cleaning cloth, and a reference guide. A USB-C cable is not in the box.
Mark Zuckerberg, Meta’s chief executive, put the Lisa pair in his Connect recap as a style story, not a spec story, and grouped it with the count he wants people to remember: more than 100 styles by the end of 2026.
Plus two new styles of Meta Glasses, an ivory colorway for the Kylie edition, and a new collab with Lisa. The clip is the piece of the keynote that travels. A hearing-aid post sits a few items up the same thread and does not move like a K-pop still. Meta knows which object gets shared.
The $449 Gen 3 and the $249 Plug-In Case
The Lisa pair is not the cheap one and not the flagship. On September 23 Meta also cut a black Adventurer with grey lenses and a plug-in case to $249, which is $50 under the $299 floor from June. It is up for pre-order on Meta.com and goes on sale on October 23 in every country where Meta Glasses are sold.
Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) is the spec bump. It is on sale from $449 with a slimmer frame, a customizable action button, and professionally adjustable temple tips. Battery life is up to nine hours, an hour more than Gen 2. A six-microphone array cuts more than 90% of background noise on calls and voice commands. The camera stays at 12 MP with 3K Ultra HD video. A recording LED remains on the frame.
THE PRICE LADDER AROUND THE LISA PAIR
| Pair | Price (USD) | Status on Sept 23, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Adventurer, plug-in case | $249 | Pre-order; on sale October 23 |
| Meta Glasses standard floor | $299 | On sale since June 23 |
| Ray-Ban Meta Audio | $349 | Pre-order; ships October 13 |
| Meta Glasses by LISA / Kylie Ivory | $399 | On sale with the new markets |
| Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) | $449 | On sale |
| Aviator Connect limited edition | $579 | Limited run for the 90th anniversary |
Ray-Ban Meta Audio is a separate product: no camera, 43 grams, up to 12 hours on the glasses and 48 more from the case, in Clubmaster and Burbank, 23 color and lens combinations. It is the all-day audio SKU. Lisa is the fashion SKU. The $249 Adventurer is the volume SKU. They shipped on the same stage because they are meant to fill different shops.
Software sitting on all of this includes dynamic photos, which pick a best frame from a burst, and Dolby Atmos capture for 360-degree sound later in 2026. Mix & Match, in the United States, lets buyers combine frame, lens, and case colors in a Meta Lab or online. A clear-frame Meta Fury with mirrored lenses is limited to Connect and Meta Lab stores at launch.
Hearing Enhancement Is $149.99 a Year
The least glamorous add-on is the one Zuckerberg said he was proud of. Hearing enhancement is an FDA-cleared software feature for adults 18 and older with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss. Setup is at home. Meta will sell it in the United States later in 2026 for $149.99, HSA and FSA eligible, or with a Meta One subscription. Audio balance and mono routing are coming as free controls on the same hardware.

A $399 Lisa pair and a $149.99 medical add-on share a charging case. One is sold with a pet charm. The other is sold with an age gate. Both run on glasses Meta wants on more faces in more countries.
Kylie Jenner Opened This Door in June
Lisa is the second celebrity pass on the house brand, not the first experiment. Meta used the own-brand Meta Glasses line in June to put Adventurer and Fury at $299 and Starfire, designed with Kylie Jenner, at $399. That June launch listed 26 styles, over eight hours of battery, a foldable case worth up to 40 extra hours, and shops that already knew Ray-Ban Meta: Meta.com, LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut, Best Buy, Amazon, and Meta Lab.
Starfire still talks in Jenner’s voice if the wearer turns that on. It still carries a gem on the lens. Ivory is a new colorway of that same oval, not a new invention. Lisa’s extras are a star, a charm, and photocards. The price is identical. The playbook is identical. The geography is the new part.
In June, Meta Glasses sold in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Australia. Ninety-two days later the same brand, still made with EssilorLuxottica, walks into four more countries with a BLACKPINK member on the hero still. Live translation on the line already covers 20 languages, including Korean, Thai, Japanese, and Chinese. The software was ready for Seoul before the house frames were.
More Than 100 Styles by Year End
Canada can now order Ray-Ban Meta, Ray-Ban Meta Optics, Oakley Meta, and Meta Glasses with prescription lenses on Meta.com. Prescription on Meta Glasses sits in a total power range of -12 to +2.25, with the Meta.com range listed at -6 to +2.25, and an Rx lens swap path that does not void the warranty. Those are optician facts, and they are how a $399 celebrity frame becomes a daily pair instead of a display object.
The joint line with EssilorLuxottica is not a breakup. Ray-Ban still gets Gen 3, Aviators for a 90th anniversary, Audio glasses, and the next wave of countries later in 2026. Meta still needs those shops. What changed on September 23 is the name on the Lisa pair, and the list of cities where that name is newly for sale.
The $249 Adventurer goes on sale on October 23 in every country where Meta Glasses are sold, including the four that opened with Lisa’s star on the temple tip.
