Glasgow’s Yardworks Festival returns with a global line-up of street artists

The Yardworks Festival, one of Europe’s biggest and best celebrations of urban art and graffiti, is back for its sixth edition at SWG3 in Glasgow. The two-day event, which will take place on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 May 2024, will feature some of the world’s most renowned artists, as well as local talent, transforming the Galvanizers Yard into a colourful and creative spectacle.

What to expect from Yardworks Festival 2024

Yardworks Festival is a unique opportunity to witness the art of graffiti and street art in action, as artists from around the globe collaborate and create stunning murals, installations, and sculptures. The festival will showcase a diverse range of styles and techniques, from 3D graffiti to classical-inspired paintings, and from realistic portraits to abstract designs.

Some of the artists confirmed for this year’s festival include:

  • JEKS, a North Carolina-based artist known for his dynamic and meticulous murals, often featuring pop culture icons and celebrities.
  • Ed-Mun, a Brazilian 3D graffiti writer who has designed this year’s festival look with an incredible one-off design that will adorn the 2024 merchandise.
  • Jeroo, a German graffiti artist and illustrator who has recently designed a can for Montana Cans, a leading brand of spray paint.
  • Katie Scott, a Manchester-based mural and street artist who is well known for her large-scale Barbie doll paintings within her work.
  • Aura, a German artist who creates vibrant and expressive pieces with geometric shapes and patterns.

How to get tickets for Yardworks Festival 2024

Tickets for Yardworks Festival 2024 will go on sale at 10am on Friday 23 February, and are expected to sell out fast. The tickets are priced at £15 for a day pass, £25 for a weekend pass, and £10 for a child’s ticket (under 12s). You can buy tickets online from the SWG3 website or from the venue’s box office.
