Debra Simon Award for Advancing Mental Wellness

Michael Acton Smith, co-founder of the mindfulness app Calm, received this award for his impact on mental health. Known for innovative ventures in digital wellness, Smith’s work with Calm has transformed the approach to mental health and mindfulness. Lauren Wright, president of the Debra Simon Family Foundation, presented the award, stating, “Michael is a visionary entrepreneur whose work in mental wellness continues to inspire.”

Bennett Family Award for Scientific Collaboration in Wellness

Wim Hof, renowned for his breathing techniques and cold-immersion methods, and Dr. Jemma King, a research fellow at the University of Queensland, were jointly awarded the Bennett Family Award.
