The Masked Singer® fans can see the costumes up close at Silverburn

A UK exclusive exhibit of the hit show’s outfits is coming to Glasgow

Fans of the popular ITV show The Masked Singer® will have a rare opportunity to see some of the amazing costumes from the show in person at Silverburn shopping centre. The exhibit, which is the first of its kind in the UK, will feature five of the most memorable outfits from the show, including Piece of Cake, Viking, Bagpipes, Fox, and Hedgehog.

The exhibit will run from Thursday 1st to Sunday 25th February in the centre’s main atrium, where visitors can admire the intricate details and craftsmanship of the costumes, which have been worn by celebrities such as Lulu, Morten Harket, Pat Cash, Denise Van Outen, and Jason Manford.

The exhibit is a collaboration between Silverburn and ©Bandicoot Scotland Ltd, the Glasgow-based production company that produces the international Emmy winning show. Derek McLean, co-founder and managing director of ©Bandicoot Scotland, said: “As a company with our home in the Southside of Glasgow, we were delighted to work with Silverburn on this project and showcase some of our fabulous costumes at their fantastic location. The Masked Singer® is a reality singing competition show that features celebrities performing in elaborate costumes and masks, concealing their identities from the audience and the panel of judges. The show is based on a South Korean format and has been adapted in more than 40 countries, including the UK, where it debuted in 2020.

The show has been a huge success, attracting millions of viewers and generating buzz on social media. The show’s appeal lies in its mystery, humour, and spectacle, as well as the celebrity reveals that often surprise and delight the fans. The show’s fourth season in the UK concluded on 15 January 2024, with the winner being revealed as Squirrel, who turned out to be pop star Cheryl.

Silverburn offers a chance to win tickets to the live show

To celebrate the exhibit, Silverburn is also giving away a pair of tickets to one of the live recordings of The Masked Singer® UK, Season 6, which will take place at ITV’s studios in Hertfordshire. The lucky winner will also receive a £1,000 cash prize, courtesy of Silverburn, to cover travel, accommodation, and spending money for the trip.

To enter the free competition, guests can visit shopsilverburn.com/masked-singer-exhibit and complete the entry form by unscrambling the anagram of one of the show’s celebrity panelists. The competition closes on 25 February 2024 and the winner will be notified by email.
