Public Invited to View Updated Proposals for Former SAICA Site in West Edinburgh

The public is being given the opportunity to view and comment on updated proposals for the redevelopment of the former SAICA packaging facility site in West Edinburgh. The plans, spearheaded by regeneration specialists Summix Capital, aim to transform the 15.5-acre brownfield site into a sustainable, residential-led development. This initiative is part of the City of Edinburgh Council’s City Plan 2030, which focuses on residential-focused redevelopment to address the city’s housing needs. The updated proposals will be showcased at a public consultation event, allowing the community to provide feedback and shape the future of the site.
