Scots Gran Stranded in Cyprus After Contracting COVID-19
A Scottish grandmother, Nancy Martin, is currently fighting for her life in Cyprus after contracting COVID-19 during a holiday. Nancy, 69, from Dunbar, traveled to Paphos with her husband James last month. Unfortunately, she fell seriously ill on July 20 and was quickly diagnosed with COVID-19 and pneumonia. Despite being placed in a coma, Nancy has shown little improvement. Her family is now desperately trying to raise funds to bring her back to Scotland, as their insurance company has refused to cover the costs due to her pre-existing lung conditions.
