Maria Eagle MP, Minister for Defence Procurement and Industry, visited Babcock’s Rosyth site to discuss the UK’s evolving Defence Industrial Strategy. A roundtable discussion brought together local SMEs, providing them with a platform to voice challenges and opportunities within the defence sector.
Eagle emphasized that defence investments should serve a dual purpose—strengthening national security while fueling economic growth across the UK.
