Stirling’s central location made it an ideal choice for the board’s meeting on 5 March. Hosted at the offices of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA), the session featured a presentation from CECA and discussions on pressing industry topics.
Board members gather up to five times a year, alternating between in-person and virtual formats, ensuring broad participation from members across Scotland.

A major focus of the March meeting was the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) consensus for 2026-2029. As a Prescribed Organisation under the CITB levy process, the FMB is required to survey its members before forming an official stance.
